  ABOUT TOTAL ENERGIES

Founded in 1924 to allow France to be a major player in the oil and gas industry, TotalEnergies has always been motivated by a true spirit of innovation. It has found some of the world’s most productive fields. Its vast distribution network has expanded the breadth of services offered, and its refineries have produced ever more sophisticated products.

The Company’s culture has been developed through hands-on experience and is based on an uncompromising dedication to performance and safety. Throughout its lengthy existence, TotalEnergies came into regular contact with Elf Aquitaine, a French oil company, and Petrofina, a Belgian oil company. Over time, they learned to collaborate while occasionally being rivals and occasionally partners.
