UNICEF Rebuilding The Northeast Education Process And Stem Education

UNICEF rebuilding education in the Northeast and Promoting STEM Education. As education secretaries and other government officials from all 17 local government areas gather to witness the flag-off of the distribution of instructional materials, the educational system is gradually returning to normal after many years of insurgency that ceased education in many Northeastern states.

The materials are being distributed to learning areas by the universal education board, under its Better Education Service delivery for all initiatives to provide support to vulnerable families and after-school children who are being encouraged to return to school.

The acting chairman, Yobe Subeb Isa Shettima maintains that is a great pleasure for him to stand on behalf of management to welcome these eminent personalities to launch instruction material supplied by the Yobe state government and other donor agencies.

With the Advent of this Administration, today yobe state can raise their head tall and say we have also made it educationally, his Excellency is someone who is marching his words with actions, he declared a State of Emergency on day one of his Assumption of office, and today we are celebrating serious liberalization in this very important sector.

The initiative is in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund, to reduce the number of out-of-school children and recipients of the items, and education secretaries are promising to ensure a fair distribution.

One of the bases for Quality education and access is when Learners have availability of learning materials, so our donor agencies KFW and FCD has supported the distribution of over 5,000 Learning Materials, we have textbooks, pens, pencils, slits, whiteboard markers, and a lot more.

According to the chairman of the Yobe State Education Secretaries’ forum Mele Makinta,” We are going to distribute it with all diligence and all exercise of correctness”.

Years of violence have impacted negatively on the Region’s

We are trying to develop and maintain the interest of the teachers as well as provide them with some training to make the teaching of this subject much friendlier to the learners. As I mentioned in my introductory speech, mathematics is a daily activity, and sometimes if it is not taught well to a student, that is where the phobia for the subject then develops. Therefore, in addition to encouraging the children to learn science and math subjects, we are also encouraging the teachers to make the teaching of these subjects very child-friendly adopting techniques that children can relate to, They should make the learning and teaching of that subject friendly and fun, the student will certainly be in a position to build love and interest. If you enjoy doing anything, then the interest and the love of that subject will be there.

these are some of the things that we are trying to do to teachers and also to our learners, developing a love for the subject at the earlier stage.

In this third edition of the program, which we hope to continue, we are looking at ways to ensure that we can continue it within our means. 1. What I find most valuable about this website is how it makes complex topics understandable and actionable. The site owner has a gift for breaking down intricate subjects into practical takeaways. They don’t oversimplify or gloss over nuances. Instead, they explain concepts clearly without losing insight.
